What did I do today?
Not much, its so hot outside so I think after picking up the kids from bible school we are just gonna stay at home, maybe watch a movie or play games. I will be working later and one of my son’s friend will be here and they just can play and watch their favorite movies. Kaya will have a swimming lesson and I let her dad take her since I won’t be able to. They can all go to the indoor pool and have fun. It’s a pretty huge place for kids to swim and have fun so it will be a blast. They always like to go there and enjoy every moment of it. I don’ have to worry about sunscreen or getting sunburn since it’s an inside pool.
It’s Friday!
Yay! It’s Friday. My little girl exclaimed! I promised to take them somewhere today and have some fun that’s why they are excited. They are going to get some toys, eat out and do fun things. Luckily there’s a mall close where we live so no need to drive faraway. Which is a very good thing. I hate driving so far, not only gas is expensive but I am not good in dealing with heavy traffic it gives me a headache. We might meet some couple of friends and and go strolling together. They have the best ice cream parlor there and we are going to try it. During this hot weather, ice cream is the best!
Happy Father’s Day!
To all father’s and soon to be father’s, have a happy one and enjoy. Since I will be working from 12-4pm, I promised hubby that I will be home right away and have a dinner at his favorite seafood place. He is going to church with the kids and I will be on my way to work. Sadly, I haven’t been to church for a couple of Sunday’s, I always have a schedule, hopefully I can go there again. I am thinking of going on the weekdays. Hope I can find one that do a service on weekdays. Need to check it out. Anyway, I have some gifts for hubby so I better take it out and get it ready so that when he comes back from church, he can see it. Hope he likes it.
What’s for today?
Nothing much, I am tired from last night swimming and the kids are tired as well. Kaya woke up around noon and her face is all red. I thought she was sick but I think she overslept. Good thing I don’t need to go to work today so therefore we can relax and enjoy the day. Hubby got some cookie dough and I will be busy baking in a few minutes. My son is asking if his friend Dylan can come over, I said yes, so he will be here soon. Belle is also here, my daughter’s friend, it will be a lot of fun baking cookies together. That’s about it, and pretty sure there will be cookies everywhere, wherever. We are going to start now and you guys enjoy this fine weather.
Swimming it is!
Supposedly, it was yesterday but since I got a call to go to work I told the kids that Thursday will be better. So here we are, getting busy on this Thursday morning. I will pick up a friend of mine, a little bit later. Right now I am wrapping an eggroll and also getting ready to make some noodles. She said she had some fish and we are going to cook it as well. It’s going to be a fun day for the most part and the kids can’t wait to go swimming. We are on the 90’s and just about great to lounge at the pool. So I need to go, pick her up and then do some cooking, Filipino style. Have a beautiful Thursday everyone!
Weekend is here!
We don’t have something plan this time, I will be working most of the day. I know the kids want to go somewhere and have fun but I told them, I’ll take them on my day off. Work first then have fun. Thankfully I will start around 4pm instead of 1pm, much better. I got to take my little girl and do some grocery. I will let her do the grocery shopping and see what she came up with. Then off to work until 930pm. Got to go and start doing stuff, have a good Saturday!
It’s Monday
We are having some barbecue today, some of my friends are here and they are bringing foods to share. It’s going to be a lot of fun. Weather is great on the 80’s but I will be working two hours tonight to do the corset for our semi annual sale. Wish I don’t have to do that but I do. Anyway, we are getting ready for the fun to start, hubby will be here in a few minutes bringing some drinks. Barbecue time waiting for a couple of friends to be here any minute now. Kids picnic!
I was planning on going but unfortunately it did not happen. As I was ready to go, a cable guy came and he said he needs to fix a couple of things. The wireless connection, phone and tv. I did not know hubby called to get it fixed and he wasn’t even here. So I waited till the guy was done, I had a feeling I won’t be able to show up at the picnic. Gladly, my little girl wasn’t mad. I think they had a good time, playing at the park and I am also glad that everything went well. Next time, hope to be there and see all the fun they have. It’s one of those days that everything is beyond your control. There are moments like that in life!
It’s Friday!
Another weekend is going to unfold, time to play and spend with family. Took the kids to school and they are going to have a field day today. I won’t be there since I will be working from 12-4 and sometimes beyond that. Depends how busy it gets. But I did pack them a good lunch, bought some bottled water and they are ready for the big day. Next week is their last week and they will be in vacation for over a month. Hopefully we can go somewhere during that time. Road trip is just fine, just to get away for a little while. Anyway, I need to get ready and start my day. Enjoy yours as well!
Sunday!
We are going to church pretty soon and a little later, my little girl and I are going to a party. We are kind of excited and is definitely looking forward to it. My friend will be here around 1pm and we can go together since the venue of the party is pretty close where I live. So her hubby will drop her here. It’s going to be a lot of fun. Endless chatting, laughing and of course eating. We are going to forget our diet today and fill up till our heart’s content. LOL!
